Jowar  or Sorghum :

1)    Sorghum is a genus of flowering plants in the grass family Poaceae. They are Monocots in nature.

6)    The secondary roots develop from the first node from the mesocotyle. Lateral roots develop from these roots penetrate the soil in all the directions.

7)    Jowar has parallel venation in leaves.
