Plants are all different, but each have their own way of preventing being eaten or killed off; some species have evolved to smell a certain way, be colored a certain way, some are actually poisonous, some have physical barriers like thorns, some spread hundreds of seeds to increase their rate of passing on their genes, etc.
  • Both have complex transportation systems. Humans have the circulatory system, and plants can have an array of different transportation systems all of which are complex on their own.
  • This is not exactly a similarity but is something interesting to note: The only difference between one red blood cell and one molecule of chlorophyll is one tiny element in the center of the molecule. A red blood cell has one Iron (Fe) in the center, and chlorophyll has one Magnesium (Mg) in the center.
  • Both require and have enzymes in order to live.
