After the 12th class exams there's a lot of pressure on them. The main social challenges faced by them are as follows:

  • Financial: Many students wish to study in good private colleges but aren't able to due to high fees charged by them. Even though they might be very good academically but their financial condition might retrain them from greater opportunities.
  • Lack of career guidance: Many students are clueless on what to do after 12th. These causes a lot of stress in them as they see their peers selecting their career path whereas they still haven't decided what to do.
  • Pressure from parents: Many students are forced to chose what their parents tell them to. They are also pressurized to chose a career as soon as they pass their matric. The boys face this pressure more from parents as they are expected to support their family.
  • Unemployment: The unemployment rate of many countries is very high. Students suffer a lot to find a career path.
