what are the steps in the preparation of temporary Mount of a stained leaf peel

1. Pluck leaf from lower epidermis
2. Then take out the peel from it and put it on slide.
Please handle slide carefully
3. Stain with Safranin
4. After this put glycerin over it and then cover it with cover slip. Avoid entry of air bubbles as well
After this put it under microscope
Then you will be able to see epidermal cells, stomata etc.

1 removal of leaf peel from the bottom surface.

2 putting it in a water.

3 after removing from water staining it with saffranin.

4 put it in a clean slide and mount with glycerine with the help of a brush.

5 put another slide gently over it.
