Industrial zones called the Special Economic Zones (SEZs) are set up with world class facilities. The companies who set up production units in the SEZs do not have to pay taxes for an initial period of five years.

As companies look to reduce the cost of the production process, the government has offered them to hire labourers flexibly and not for a whole year.
