Sher Shah Suri is one of the most famous rulers of India. It is this Afghan ruler who has no royal strings attached to some great royal family. But, in spite of not being born with a silver spoon in mouth, he was a real soldier and a great ruler. The life story of Sher Shah Suri is quite interesting. This chivalrous ruler made his fortune rather than getting it from his forefathers. He was the sole leader who succeeded in giving the Mughals a run for their fortune.
