Hi!!

The Three major geographical entities are-

  • Himadri (greater Himalaya) -It lies in Sikkim in India. Nanga Parbat rises to 8,126 m and marks the western end of the Himalayan Range. Nandadevi (Uttar Pradesh) rises to 7,817 m and is situated about 330 km north-east of Delhi. Great Himalayas are also known as Himadri.
  • Himanchal (lesser Himalaya) -Himachal Pradesh, state of India, in the extreme northern part of the Asian subcontinent. It is bounded by the state of Jammu and Kashmir to the north, by the Tibet Autonomous Region of China to the east, and by the states of Uttarakhand to the southeast, Haryana to the south, and Punjab to the west.
  • Shiwaliks (outer Himalaya) extending almost uninterrupted throughout its length, are separated by major geological fault lines.
