India has 2 cropping patterns- Rabi, Kharif..
Rabi crops are down in winter from October to December and harvested in summer from April to June. Ex- wheat, barley, gram
Kharif crops are grown with the onset of monsoon in different parts of the country and harvested in September- October. Ex- paddy, maize, cotton.
