The crust is an outermost layer of the planet. The crust of the earth is literally composed with the great variety of the metamorphic igneous and the sedimentary rocks.

This crust is totally underlain by the mantle and the upper portion of the crust fully composed with the most of the peridotite which is a rock denser than the rocks which are commonly overlying in the crust. This is the crust composed of.
