➡️Peripheral nervous system or PNS consists of Somatic nervous system and Autonomic (viceral) nervous system.✔️
➡️PNS provides communication between the Central nervous system and other parts of the body.✔️
➡️The components of somatic nervous system includes cranial nerves (from the brain) and somatic nerves (from the spinal cord). ✔️
➡️Whereas the autonomic nervous system regulates the activities of involuntary smooth muscle, cardiac muscles and glands.✔️
