There are many uses of Carbon Dioxide-

1. Manufacture of fizzy drinks

Carbon dioxide gas design rapidly under pressure it gets dissolved in figure solutions containing different flavours.

2. Manufacture of chemicals

Carbon dioxide is used in large amounts in the manufacture of many industrial chemical such as baking soda,etc.

3. Manufacture of dry ice

When carbon dioxide is cooled to below about - 78°C,1 phrases to a white eyes like solid which is called dry ice. It is also used for food preservation.

4. As a respiratory stimulant

Oxygen mixed with 5% carbon dioxide is named as "Carbogen" is stimulates the respiratory organs carbogen helps in the cases of gas poisoning,suffocation,etc.

5. In photosynthesis

Green plants contain chlorophyll which traps solar energy and binds carbon dioxide of air and water in form of carbohydrates by the process of photosynthesis.

6. Manufacture of fire extinguishers

Most of the fire extinguishers in their chemical reactions and carbon dioxide gas. This gas actually helps to extinguish fire.
