There are no types of anther.
It is stamen which consists of long stalk part called filament and the upper broad portion called anther. Anther contains male gametophyte known as pollen. Which help in pollination. When these male gamates fuse with female gamate (egg) then they form zygote.
Anther are two lobes which are attached to each other by filament.
