Reversible changes are the physical changes which can be reversed i.e., the final substance formed can be reversed back to the original substance. The changes that can be undone are actually termed as reversible changes.

The exact opposite of reversible changes are irreversible changes, in which the products obtained cannot be reversed back into their original form.

Example: -

i) Melting

ii) Boiling

iii) Freezing

iv) Condensation

Description: -

Suppose you melt a block of ice. The water obtained can be again frozen to form ice.

And similarly, if you boil water, water vapour is formed which can again be condensed to form water.

Therefore these are reversible changes.
