universal indicators is a mixture of coloured compounds, which is used for simple testing of solutions . it is of no use for titrations as there are several colour changes that take place over a variety of pH values.

  • natural indicators : Natural Indicator is a type of indicator that can be found naturally and can determine whether the substance is an acidic substance or a basic substance. Some examples of natural indicators are red cabbage, turmeric, grape juice, turnip skin, curry powder, cherries, beetroots, onion, tomato, etc.
  • impact indicators: Impact indicators measure what a project has achieved relative to its aims and thus promote accountability; • Public relations and advocacy: Impacts and Performance indicators can be used to create consensus, to advocate for the project's goals;
