Types of Joints are:-

Ball and socket joint :-- These joints can rotate freely in all directions. e.g. Shoulder, wrist etc.

Hinge joint :-- These joints move in only back and forth directions. e.g. knee, elbow etc.

Pivotal joint :--This type of joint is present where the neck joins the head. These joints permit the bones to turn around or rotate. However, it allows movement in some particular directions only.

For example, we can turn our head in four directions right, left, forward, and backward .e.g. joint in the head and neck etc.

Fixed joints :-- These joints cannot move at all. For example, the bones in our head cannot move. e.g. Upper jaw
