there are 4 types of quantum numbers
==principle quantum number-n
==angular momentum quantum number-l
==magnetic quantum number-ml
==spin quantum number-ms
hope this helps.

we can define quality of quantum as the solution of Schrödinger wave equation..
these are four :---
1) principal quantum number:-
it denotes the no. of shells or energy level of an electron in any orbit.
it is denoted by letter (n)
"n" can have any value from 1 to infinity.
n = 1,2,3........
______________________________
2) Azimuthal quantum number :-
=) Also know as angular quantum number.
** it denotes the number of sub-sells or orbital
it is denoted by (l)
=) the value of l is from 0 to (n-1)
______________________________
3) magnetic quantum number:-
=) it is denoted by (m)
=) it describes the shape , orientation of an orbital .
=) it's value ranging from -l to +l
where " l "is Azimuthal quantum number.
______________________________
4) spin quantum number:-
=) it is denoted by (s)
The Spin Quantum Number (s) is a value (of +1/2 or -1/2) that describes the angular momentum of an electron. An electron spins around an axis and has both angular momentum and orbital angular momentum.
*(s) has value ranging from -1/2 or +1/2
this value has no physical meaning but if you treat +1/2 upward spin then -1/2 become downward spin and vice versa.
