THe Answer is ==> There are two types of reflex arcs:the autonomic reflex arc, affecting inner organs, and the somatic reflex arc, affecting muscles. When a reflex arc consists of only two neurons, one sensory neuron, and one motor neuron, it is defined as monosynaptic. Monosynaptic refers to the presence of a single chemical synapse.

It is an immediate involuntary response to a stimulus without the involvement of the brain and only controlled by spinal
cord of CNS is called reflex action.
Any spontaneous, automatic and mechanical response to a stimulus acting on a receptor without the will of the animal or without involvement of the brain is called reflex action.
They are mainly of two types
1.Unconditional or simple or reflex action
2.Conditional or acquired reflex action
It is inborn or inherited or unlearnt and no previous experience is needed or any judgement is needed in this type of reflex action. It does not require any learning or any experience. It is shown by all the individuals in human beings or in any special species. The reflex action is directly related to stimulus i.e. no reflex without stimulus.
Examples -- Coughing, Sneezing, knee jark , Blinking of eye , hand withdrawal from any hot object etc.
It is not inburn. It is learnt and previous experience is needed in this type of reflex action. It depends on the past experience training or learning. Demonstration of conditional reflex action was first made by Russian physiologists I.P.Pavlov in a hungry dog. This action is under cerebral control during learning.Pavlov Rang the bell while feeding the food Thus associated the unconditional response with additional stimulus.
