Convex mirrors are used by all vehicles as rear view mirrors.

They are used in junctions or sudden turns in a street or in the corners or schools or hospitals or super markets, to if any people are coming from the other side and so a collision can be avoided.

Concave mirrors are used by doctors to reflect light on to the teeth or into other parts of mouth.

Concave mirrors are used in vehicles as the reflectors from the headlights or other (rear, side) lights on the vehicle.
