Carbolic acid also called phenol is used in --
1) It acts as snake repellants.
2) it is used as solvent to dissolve any alcohol.
3) It is used as disinfectant in house.
4) Used in the manufacturing of pesticides and plastics.
5) It is used as surgical antiseptic
