NYLON: Nylon is a synthetic fibre. It prepared from coal, water, and air. It was first fully processed synthetic fibre.

⏩ It is prepared by the polymerization of amid molecules by complex chemical process.

USES:

⏩ We use many articles made from Nylon such as socks, ropes, tents, tooth brush bristles, car seat belts, ropes, curtains etc...

PROPERTIES:

⏩ It is strong, elastic and light in weight. Clothes made of Nylon is lustrous abd easy to wash. Nylon does not absorb water.



RAYON: It is called as artificial silk. It is prepared from natural source, wood pulp. It is man made fibre and cheaper than silk.

USES

⏩ Rayon is mixed with cotton is used for making bed sheets.
⏩Rayon is mixed with wool is used to make carpets.
⏩ Rayon guaze is used in bandaging.
