- it give instructions and data to computer system.
- It is used to point objects just like we use mouse .
- Difference from mouse is that in track ball it's position is fixed and to move the cursor on screen we need to move the ball placed in it
- but is designed with a moveable ball on the top, which can be rolled in any direction.
