They are called cuspid valve. if it is present between right auricle and right ventricle it is tricuspid valve if it is present between left auricle and left ventricle then it is called bicuspid or mitral valve

in right atrium there is a tricuspid valve whereas in left atrium bicspid valve is present which get opens when the atriums are filled with blood and it passes the blood from atriums to ventricle.
