what are the various forms of government? describe them in brief

Absolute monarchy exists when the family has a lot of power and say in the political matters of the society, whereas constitutional monarchies are more ceremonial in their roles. A democracy is a form of government where the power belongs to the people.

There are two types of government.
i) Horizontal
ii)Vertical

Here I am providing with a comparative study.

HORIZONTAL: Horizontal is a type of government on which the power is shared in three groups.They are:
a) Central
b) State and
c) Union.
In horizontal all the different groups keep check on each other for smooth functioning of the government.
Eg.India

VERTICAL:Vertical is a type of government in which the power is shared among three groups.They are:
a) Executive
b) Legislature and
c) Judiciary
In vertical all the three work in different levels but they don't have a check on each other.
They work on their own.
