The separated rating scale is an ordinal scale that has brief descriptions or numbers associated with every classification requested in terms of scale positions.  


In spite of the fact that they are very easy to construct and administer, these rating scales don't permit an unmistakable/fine distinction that is possible on a realistic scale.  


They usually neglect to bring up the reasonable mentality of respondents especially in the Likert scale.  


Impartial responses are much hard to translate for the semantic differential scale. Descriptive words or phrases may make a bias in the general results for the staple scale.
