Three things are required in proper combination before ignition andcombustion can take place---Heat, Oxygen and Fuel. There must be Heat (ignition temperature) to start and continue the combustion process.

Hey mate!

Thank you for asking this question! ❤

Answer:

____________

The Combustion of a fuel is the burning of the fuel and air or Oxygen...

For combustion to take place:

There must be a combustible substance(fuel)...

There must be a supporter of combustion (Oxygen, etc.)...

The combustible substance must be raised to its ignition temperature...

The ignition temperature(flash point) of a fuel is defined as the minimum temperature at which the fuel catches fire...

A good fuel should

Have a high calorific value...

Have a moderate ignition temperature...

Be easy to access store and transport...

Be safe to use...

Be environment friendly...

Be economical...

Hydrogen, with a very high calorific value, is considered as an excellent fuel because:

It has the highest calorific value among many common fuels...

Its combustion releases only water, which is eco-friendly...

It is a very light fuel, and so, it is used in rockets...

Hydrogen is not a conventional source of energy because:

It is very costly...

It burns with a pop-sound...

It is not easily available and accessible...
