The digestive system comprises from mouth to anus. First food intake and then chewed with the help of teeth after saliva mixing these easily passes through oesophegous. then it reach to the stomach and the acid hcl and with the help of digestive enzymes food is break down into simpler form and then it goes to small intestine where absorptions start with the help of villi and thus waste material is come out of the anus ... hope this will help

In the process of digestion, the food is first chewed and then swallowed slowly. After swallowing the food from the mouth, it goes to the trachea (food pipe) in the food pipe there are peristaltic movements (pushing inward) which helps us to take the food to the stomach. In the stomach, HCL(hydrochloric acid) and many enzymes are used to digest the food. Form. There it goes to the small intestine where the absorption of useful nutrients takes place. After absorption in small intestine, the fodder goes into the large intestine. There the remaining useful nutrients and water are being absorbed. After the fully absorbed food passes through intestine to anus in which it is stored called as faeces. Then the faeces are excreted out of our body.
