Three different ways to build your vocabulary are:
1. To read a lot of books. I know it doesn't sound as exciting or helpful but it is! When you read and reread the same word over and over again, you begin to understand the word and it automatically adds to your vocabulary.
2. Watching plays such as Shakespeare plays as they written in an extremely high level of English.
3. You can look up words that are useful to know and attempt to add them to your vocabulary by adding them to a studying set (e.g. Quizlet)
4. Listening to songs can at times also build your vocabulary as you might hear words you've never heard in songs and wonder what it is. When you find yourself wondering, check on the internet on in a dictionary for the meaning. curiosity is key!
