It can be defined as a region of globe which observes a Uniform Standard Time(UST) for legal, economic and social purposes. Time Zones helps to keep areas in close commercial or other communication to keep the same time. Most of the time zones on land are determined from Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). i.e. UTC (+or- ) a whole number of hours. Eg UTC + 05:45.
