What is an advertisement?

There are two main types of advertisements :-

1. Commercial advertisement : This kind of advertisement generally promotes a product or a business organisation.This type of advertisement is further divided into four categories: 1. Product advertisement. 2. Classified advertisement. 3. Industrial advertisement. 4. Institutional advertisement
2. Social advertisement : This kind of advertisement is usually about social issues such as save water, stop child trafficking, Save girl child, Don't drink and drive, don't smoke,etc. . The government usually gives this kind of advertisements.
