Vector, in physics, a quantity that has both magnitude and direction. It is typically represented by an arrow whose direction is the same as that of the quantity and whose length is proportional to the quantity's magnitude.

Vectors are lines denoted in space by physical mathematics. They are quantities which show definite magnitude as well as direction. For.Eg.) speed is scalar quantity as it magnitude (numeric value) but not direction, whereas, velocity is a vector quantity as it has magnitude as well as direction (direction denotes either negative or positive aspect as a sign before numeric value)
