Vestigial structure:--
Those structure or organ which are reduce & non functional in the present but are functional in the ancestors are called vestigial structure or vestigial organ.

For e.g.- Appendix in Human:-
it is functional in herbivores but non functional and reduced in human it is used for digesting cellulose.
