VIABLE PARTICLE:

If the particle contains “one or more living microorganisms” which affects the sterility of medical instruments and it approximately ranges from 0.2\quad \mu m\quad to\quad 30\quad \mu m .This is known as viable particle.

NON-VIABLE PARTICLE:

It is the particle which does not contain any living microorganism in it but it is used for transporting the viable particles. "Particle counters" are used for monitoring the “non-viable particles”.
