Villi (singular: villus) are small, finger-like projections that extend into the lumen of the small intestine.
Location: These are located in the inner walls of the small intestine.
Function: Its function is to increase the surface area of the small intestinal wall to absorb the digested food
Villi :- Villis are the small finger like projections in the wall of the small intestine. which provide more surface area so that the digestive soluble food get absorbed.
Villi is covered with a vast network of blood capillaries in which soluble food get diffused quickly and send to all cells for further respiration and energy requirements.
