The unwanted plants which grow with crops that takes all the nutrients of the plants are called weeds.
There are 3 main methods for removal of weeds:-
1. Manual Method:- In this method weeds are removed manually by the use of instruments like khurpi etc.
2. Chemical method:- In this method weedicides are spread on the field which destroys the weeds.
3. Biological method :- In this method some specific insects which only feed on weeds and are not harmful for crops are left on the field. The insects eat the weeds and helps in their removal.
