The standard defenition of ATOMICITY is:-
⇒the number of atoms of an element present in one molecule of that element.

As for examples,
⇒Oxygen is diatomic so one molecule of oxygen would be O2. This means that there are TWO ATOMS of Oxygen in ONE OXYGEN MOLECULE.

⇒Helium, on the other hand, is monoatomic so there would only be ONE ATOM of Helium in ONE HELIUM MOLECULE.
