2️⃣Delhi could no longer remain as an effective Centre due to the emergence of regional kingdoms in various parts of India.

3️⃣The ruler of England, Queen Elizabeth I granted company a charter to trade in east. The company started trading as the rulers (Mughals) give them the right to trade.

4️⃣The company in due time transformed itself from trading to ruling in India and it acquired military functions.
