what attracted europran trading compaines to india ?pls friends explain in points and even explain brifly its urgent!!!

-It's because India was rich in spices and clothes.
-Moreover they found a good scope of colonising the country for their nation's  profit.
-They also reasoned the cheap costs at which valuable resources like timber  and goods could be shipped.
-They also discovered that the land was productive to the highly demanded silk, cotton, pepper, indigo and tea.

The european traders liked the products of India because:-
(i) All the companies were interested in buying the same thing.
(ii) The fine qualities of cotton and silk produced in India had a big market in Europe.
(iii) Pepper, cloves, cardamom and cinnamon too were in great demand.
Therefore, the above mentioned points made the traders attract India.
