EXPLANATION:
From the Gita he took the ideal of non violence and truth. Gandhi Ji played a very influential and important role in 'freedom struggle of India'.
Gandhiji received great popularity in the 1930 Salt Satyagraha in protest against the salt imposed by the British Government on Indians and after this, in 1942, the British left India.
