'Tears' is a part of the defence mechanism in our body. When ever a foreign body enters the eyes it will produce water( tears) so that the foreign body can get loosened from the eyes and can get washed away. The saline property of tears will also kill the harmful germs present. Tears keep eyes fresh and away from germs. This play a good role in maintaining healthy eyes
