The pressure inside oxygen tanks changes, i.e. increased as they are filled because of an increase in the number of oxygen moles in the tank.

It is because the pressure of a gas is directly proportional to the number of moles present( as studied from Avogadro's Law).

Pressure( P) = k× number of moles( n), where k is a constant that varies according to volume and temperature.
