Black metallic color will be observed and the reaction that will happen in the sunlight is as follows- 2AgCl = 2Ag + Cl2. During the reaction there will be a release of chlorine gas in the environment. This type of reaction is called as photodecomposition reaction. In this compound silver chloride which is a white solid crystal and when it is exposed to light, the compound will absorb the light and break into Ag (silver) and chlorine (Cl).
