when light enter from glass to diamond it's speed will decrease as light is moving from rarer medium to denser medium.......

talwarsrishti01zvb: But we are given the refractive index table of all the elements
talwarsrishti01zvb: So what we are going to do
Shiv4225: so the medium which has greater refractive index the speed of light in that medium is less whereas the substance with less refractive index the speed of light in that medium is more
athulbiju10: Its speed reduces because there refractive index are different ok
Shiv4225: Refractive index is inversely proportional to speed of light
athulbiju10: ya its also right..
