why potassium not React with kerosene

Potassium is a very reactive element, it is a strong reducing agent therefore it reduces oxygen and water. Compounds present in kerosene are already reduced hence no further reduction of kerosene oil can take place. Therefore potassium does not show any reaction with kerosene oil.
