erosion is the sweeping away of the top fertile layer by the agents of erosion .the agents of erosion can be wind ,water ,air .erosion is prone in areas where the soil is bare with no vegetation .coastal areas are also prone to erosion because of the sand dunes that are easily carried away by water and again in the coasts numerous rivers flow to the ocean

erosion at the coast is responsible for iconic features at the coast ,if the river passes through a limestone rock then it forms underground features such as the caves ,and karst scenery
