people living in coastal areas mostly consume fish

Because fish is readily available and usually the main industry in small towns on the coast. If these people are already fishing for their livelihood, then it makes sense they would eat some of what they catch. Same reason a farmer usually eats what's on his farm supplemented by what they find at the farmers market or just general food market in rural areas.

Explanation:

Fish is food,

Fish is good,

Full of omega oil,

Eat it fried or boil,

And some can be made into sushi.

If you stay by the sea,

And the hinterland is bare,

And food is hard to find up there,

Go to the sea with your hook and line,

Catch your fishes, and you will be fine,

Your wives will think of new styles to cook,

The fishes that you caught on the hook,

And so prepared a multitude of wonderful dishes,

With the clams, oysters, prawns and your fishes.

So why stray away from this tasty things,

And eat only what you harvest from your measly plantings?

When the sea can yield so many treasures,

And so many food from the sea makes our pleasures.

hope it helps you .....
