Pure water is colourless . Sea and river water looks blue because sky reflects its colour onto the surface of seawater . The colour of impure water mainly depends upon the impurities dissolved in it .

BrainlyPromoter: water reflects sky

Hi,
Water has no colour it is a "transparent" liquid.
But as we can see the colour of water of Wells,Seas, oceans, etc is generally sky blue, that Is the colour due to Tyndall effect , scattering, reflection or any other natural phenomenon.
