what could be the consequences? if plastics are not properly disposed.

their will be pollution everywhere, the animals eat food along with the polythene which causes them to choke and eventually they die they cannot be degraded on the ground as they are non-biodegradable and poisonous.

If plastic like polythene bags thrown around, animals in urban areas particularly cows eat polythene bags. The plastic won't digest ,and the cow dies.
