Reflex actions generally occur without the involvement of the conscious areas of the brain which means that all reflex actions are unconscious actions. So there is no role of brain in reflex action.
But if reflex action was controlled by the brain, the response against stimuli would be slower and might be injurious.

☛ Brain has to perform many functions and reflex actions must be carried out very quickly or else we can get an injury.
☛ .So if the brain has to control the reflex actions we would surely get burnt.
