On 1st of August in 1920 Non-cooperation Movement was announced officially.
In December 1920, changes were made regarding the strategies of non-cooperation.
It included surrendering of titles, boycotting schools, courts and councils, and eventually boycotting of foreign goods was followed.
This was accompanied by maintenance of Hindu - Muslim unity and strict non-violence.
