When Aram opened his window in early morning, he was totally surprised to see that her cousin Mourad was sitting on a horse. He was surprised because they were poor and they were not able to afford a horse as it was both's desire to ride a horse. Also, according to Aram, Mourad could not steal a horse for ride because their Garoghlanien family was very popular for their honesty. These are the two reasons which surprised Aram.

Actually, Mourad knew that  Aram too wants to ride a horse, so he came to Aram's window to fulfill his desire of riding a horse.
